Osseo HOSA finishes top 33 in international tournament
Osseo HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America) - Future Health Professionals recently attended and competed at the International Leadership Conference (ILC) in Nashville, Tennessee. Elena Bohlsen and Samantha Longenecker, incoming seniors at Osseo Senior High School, placed in the top 33 in the Emergency Medical Technician category.
Out of 85 Emergency Medical Technician teams, only 33 advanced to the second round which included the Osseo team of Bohlsen and Longenecker. This top-33 placement is the highest placement at ILC by an Osseo team in its 25+ year history of HOSA participation.
“We are extremely proud of these two for their hard work and dedication leading up to the conference and second round accomplishment,” Erik Bryz-Gornia, the HOSA co-advisor, said.
